The partnership brings together the automotive brand and New Zealand’s only team competing in Australia’s National Basketball League, with OMODA JAECOO supplying a fleet of 12 vehicles to support the Breakers throughout the season.
The fleet will feature a selection of JAECOO’s latest New Energy Vehicles (NEVs), including the JAECOO J5 EV, J5 SHS-H and J7 SHS-P.
The partnership will also see the OMODA JAECOO brand featured on the BNZ Breakers’ uniforms during the NBL27 season.
Driving the BNZ Breakers Forward
The new partnership reflects OMODA JAECOO’s continued focus on building its presence in New Zealand and supporting local organisations and communities.
Roy Munoz, Chief Commercial Officer of OMODA JAECOO Australia & New Zealand, said the partnership represents another step in the brand’s commitment to connecting with New Zealand communities.
“This collaboration represents another significant step in OMODA JAECOO’s commitment to engaging New Zealand communities and supporting organisations that embody ambition, teamwork and drive for excellence.”
“We’re incredibly excited to partner with the BNZ Breakers and look forward to sharing some exciting moments on and off the court in the coming seasons.”
BNZ Breakers CEO Troy Georgiu also welcomed the partnership, highlighting the shared focus on innovation and performance between the two organisations.
The Breakers have become one of the most recognised teams in Australian and New Zealand basketball, winning four NBL championships and becoming only the second team in NBL history to achieve three consecutive championship wins.
