All the ute. Now with electric muscle.
The Stockman runs diesel and electric — up to 100km on electrons alone, and a diesel kicking in when you actually need it. It’s not hedging its bets. It just did the sums on what Kiwis actually drive.
The Stockman is built around a 2.5-litre turbo diesel — the kind of engine that knows its way around a long haul. The electric motor is there to make it faster, cleaner, and quieter, not to replace it. Together they produce 350kW and 800Nm. Enough grunt to remind other utes who they’re dealing with.
Chery confirmed the towing figures as non-negotiable. 3,500kg braked — not aspirational, not a stretch target. The baseline. Built to compete at the top of the segment from day one.
POWER SOURCE 1 – 2.5T Diesel. Turbocharged. Torquey. Ready for the long haul.
POWER SOURCE 2 – Electric Up to 100km EV range. Zero emissions. Zero drama.
