As the workhorse in the all-new Isuzu D-MAX range, the LX Single Cab ute is built tough. It comes as a ‘Cab & Chassis’ and is able to be fitted with a range of different deck options to handle any task you throw at it. The single cab chassis has space for you and one more. Deck is optional extra.
The LX Single Cab has still got some creature comforts to keep you entertained when you are out and about and, like all new D-MAX models, it’s got all the gear to keep you safe out on the open road. Available in manual or automatic with 4WD, the LX Single Cab is powered by Isuzu’s legendary 3-litre turbo diesel engine.
PERFORMANCE
The dependable 3.0L 4JJ3 turbo-diesel engine has been given a tickle up and now produces more power and torque. Revisions to the high-pressure injector system, electronically controlled variable geometry turbocharger and engine internals result in an extra 10 kW of power plus another 20 Nm of torque all while maintaining class-leading dependability.

Isuzu’s Intelligent Driver Assistance System (IDAS), which covers an extensive list of both active and passive safety features, is standard across every D-MAX model. Using state-of-the-art sensors and a stereo camera system, the D-MAX constantly monitors your surrounding environment for danger. Should it detect a collision is imminent, the system will work to help the driver to defuse dangerous situations via alert systems and automated functions.
