Description
2026 Subaru Forester 2.5 Hybrid Sport CVT is a well-equipped midsize SUV combining strong hybrid efficiency with Subaru's renowned all-wheel-drive capability. Its 2.5-litre Boxer petrol engine works with a high-output electric motor and 1.1kWh lithium-ion battery to produce 145kW of combined power, with claimed fuel consumption of 6.2L/100km. Subaru says the Hybrid can deliver more than 1,000km of range per tank under its stated test assumptions.
The Hybrid Sport features Subaru's Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, 220mm ground clearance and dual-mode X-Mode, making it suitable for everyday driving as well as gravel roads and weekend adventures. The hybrid system can also provide electric-only driving at low speeds when conditions allow.
Sport-specific styling includes 19-inch bronze alloy wheels, bronze exterior accents and ladder-style roof rails.
