Description
The 2026 Suzuki Fronx 1.5 Hybrid 2WD Auto is a compact crossover SUV aimed at urban driving, combining a small footprint with strong practicality, modern technology and excellent fuel economy. The NZ-market model uses a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with Suzuki Smart Hybrid 12V ISG, producing 75.8kW and 136.8Nm, paired with a smooth 6-stage automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.
Its mild-hybrid system is self-charging, recovering energy during braking and deceleration and assisting the engine during acceleration. There is no need to plug it in. Suzuki NZ lists fuel consumption at 5.4L/100km on the 3P-WLTP conversion (4.9L/100km NEDC), while the engine can run on 91 RON petrol.
Despite its compact dimensions, the five-seat Fronx offers 304 litres of luggage space with the rear seats up and 605 litres with them folded.
